Cadence Rides provide leadership networking cycling opportunities for business or organisation leaders in the Greater Manchester area.

This challenging Tuesday afternoon ride is aimed for leaders in the private, public and voluntary sector to network, enjoy the great outdoors and enhance your wellbeing.

Date: Tuesday 18th September 2018

Time: 12:30pm – 5:00pm (approx)

Route: Long Hill, Goyt Valley and Cat & Fiddle (Circular Route Starting in South Manchester)

Distance: 85km (53miles)

Difficulty: Hard – Elevation: 1000m

We will meet at a local bike shop in South Manchester and cycle to Jodrell Bank for a mid-afternoon coffee stop and return to Manchester in time for 5pm with a chance to share more time networking and a treat to reward those legs. A cost of £20 (+booking fee) will book your place on the ride which has a limited number of spaces available for safety reasons.

The course is mostly flat with a hill (Artists Lane) just before halfway, giving good opportunity for networking on the ride while taking in many quieter Cheshire Lanes.  This ride is recommended for regular road cyclists but will aim to be inclusive with an average speed of 15-16mph (24-26 Km/h).
